If you are stressed, your children will be. (This is a great life lesson as well :) But when it comes to flying with infants, children or really anyone, they can sense your stress level and will react to it in their own way. If you are calm, cool and collected, chances are they will feel more comfortable and settle right in. And if not? So be it! It is just a few hours of people’s lives where they have to put up with your screamer. Let's keep going with more ideas though so hopefully this doesn't happen!

Quick Tips:

We love cloth packs, especially for infants. Frees up your hands and arms and then folds away nice

Did you know you can check in a stroller or carrier pack for free? If you have an easy foldable stroller or pack, you can take it right up until l you get on the plane as well!

You can check car seats ahead of time. if you paid for a seat, you can use it on the flight for your child. See our favorite car seat HERE.

Layering is a great way for your child to be comfortable.

Going through TSA

On the plane:

We suggest having your lap child in a soft carrier while you go through. TSA.

Your lap child will not need to take off their shoes, just the adult.

You will want to take out any food and liquids you have for the child, and they will need to check it.

*You can bring breast milk/formula but they will need to check it. We always had a small bag of breast milk on top so when they checked it, we could toss this small amount.
