What is the
Jr. Ranger Program?
The Junior Ranger Program is an educational initiative run by the U.S. National Park Service that encourages children to explore and learn about national parks, monuments, and historic sites. Participants complete fun activities such as hikes, games, and educational tasks to earn a Junior Ranger badge. The program aims to inspire young people to connect with nature, understand environmental conservation, and develop a sense of stewardship for national parks and public lands.
