Asheville, NC area - our 4 Day Itinerary

in NORTH CAROLINA

Our time in Asheville was a very unexpected time. First of all we left Michigan without Asheville on the mind.. but as we made our way south and found ourselves here, we are so thankful! What we first fell in love with were the kind people. Everyone we came into contact with were smiling (yes we could tell under the masks :)) And happy to be alive! Made it such an enjoyable experience. The next reason we fell in love was the amazing, unexpected scenery!

Stays: We decided to use our hotwire knowledge and booked a comfortable hotel - Holiday Inn Express :)

Restaurants: We had two awesome, tasty experiences! A double-decker bus coffee shot and a delcouse brewery. Check these out here!

Adventures & Hikes: We headed up Blue Ridge Parkway - BRP to see what there was instore! Every windy curve was a beautiful, stunning, fresh view! We even had a chance to stop at one for our annual, "Eat thanksgiving in a cool place" tradition:)

Craggy Pinnacle Trail- Craggy Pinnacle Trail is a 1 mile heavily trafficked out and back trail located near Barnardsville, North Carolina that features beautiful wild flowers and is good for all skill levels. We love this short hike. it was very heavily trafficked with many families. So worth the views at the top! Towards the begging of the hike you go through some unique mystical type trees. The kids loved this hike!

Keep Driving! We drove up a ways after this hike and enjoyed some more vistas. Truly one of the most beautiful areas of the world!

Mount Pisgah - Mount Pisgah Trail is a 5.3 mile heavily trafficked out and back trail located near Canton, North Carolina that features beautiful wild flowers and is rated as moderate. When you get to the top you are right under a power tower. Very interesting. The views are amazing!

Dupont State Park - "The Land of waterfalls"- We also had the chance to check out this amazing area and try out the trails! Check out all our tips here!

For more hikes check out All Trails:) Our favorite trail guide.

Enjoy your time and let us know where we should go next-

because this is definitely not the last time we will visit the amazing BRP in NC!
