Holland, MI - there's no place like home!
Holland, MI is been our families home town... I could probably drive around with a blindfold at this point :) But that doesn't mean that it's rated the 2nd best vacation town in Michigan (Mackinac Island being 1st).

Lets dig right in!
Holland, MI is known for the Tulip Time festivities & Beaches...
There are many side 'privet' beaches you can find but the two main beaches are:
Tulip Time: This is one of the main reasons people pick Holland, MI to visit. We are representing the Holland that is in the Netherlands. Check out the website with all your Tulip Time Info you could need! Don't worry - even if it's not Tulip Time you can still get all the dutch vibes you want:
Windmill Island - quaint little area where you can get all the dutch you need! Windmill, Fudge, Wooden Shoes and more!
Dutch Village - This is a kids favorite thing! They have all the Fudge, Wooden Shoes and candle making you could want! Then make your way inside and there is so much for the kids to do (Farris Wheel, Carresol, Farm, Kids activities and more!
Biking:
We suggest getting the app "Ride Spot" and signing up. Has all info on bike path info.
There are many biking trails but our favorite would be beach to beach. Follow along the trail from Tunnel Park State Park Beach. The bike trail continues all the way up to Grand Haven Beach if you'd prefer!

There are a few places to get out in the water in Holland.
One location is near Holland State Park and it has a two hour limit. There are a few other random places near this area that you can park and try and get in the water as well.. but sometimes they are busy.
Another place is Unity Bridge to get on Lake Macatawa. You can float out towards the windmill on Windmill Island or down Lake Michigan. Paw Paw Park has a fun, short river to take.
