We love that Chicago is a quick jump across state lines to visit! We have done many visits just Josh and I but decided to take the kids along this time (check out info without kids here). It was so fun to see their eyes light up at the tall buildings and amazing Chicago vibes!

Where to stay: We have always opted to use our hotwire knowledge and tips and get a deal on a hotel. Our last favorite hotel was right next to the Chicago Tower on Michigan Ave. We have many friends who have enjoyed different Air BnB's in the area as well.
Our favorite places to eat:

The Gage -
This place is known for its burgers. Be sure and try their fried cauliflower as well! A bit fancy and right across from Millenium Park.

Wild Berry -
There are a few locations but we checked out the location in the Chicago tower. BE SURE AND GET THE PANCAKES! Everything here is amazing.

Chicago Style Pizza -
Our favorite two places so far are "Lu Menalgies" and this not as known pizza shop "Pequod's PIzza"

Chicago Style Hotdog Stands - Chicago-style hotdogs are good anywhere but if you get it at a fun stand near the Lakefront Trail (See below).. it gives you all the chi-town vibes!

Where to adventure:
Parks - This is the coolest park right across from the street from the above Wild Berry that is in the Chicago Tower. Fun for the kids to get some climbing in while you wait to eat in the morning! Check out this about the 15 Coolest Parks in Chicago!
