We just love Cocoa Beach! It's a quick 45/1hr trip from Orlando so a total day trip if you want to do it between Disney days or just want to not drive far from the airport!

Where to eat:
Franny's Fried Chicken -to go:
Our favorite local restaurant we found! This place was delcouse and Franny is just awesome! a quick stop turned into quite the adventure. Click there to see more on our experience at Franny's :)
We mostly stuck to our hotel and enjoyed cooking from Publix otherwise!

Where to stay: Our friends stayed at a great place they found off of VRBO with a kitchen and two bedrooms and beach access. Highly recommend doing this if you are staying a while! We decided to splurge a little, only being there a couple days and found used hotwire:
Holiday Inn Club Vacations: We loved this place! The pools were heated which was so nice to go for a swim anytime of day. There was an awesome lazy river the girls loved. The slide was closed while we were there but there was a huge slide that most kids would love! The rooms were clean, had a mini kitchen and had a pull out couch in ours. We absolutely loved the 5 min board walk out to the beach as well. If you can find a deal on this place highly recommend it!

Adventure Time: Our adventures were mostly consist around the beach and seashell hunts:) But here are a few extra adventures we've did or have done other times in this area:
Rent a surfboard: You can find Ron Jon Largest surf shop in the world right in Cocoa beach! Go rent some surf boards and try it out! Such a cool place to shop, of course, as well.

Port Canaveral: So much to do at this park! You'll find a play area, beautiful gazebo vista and Jetty Pier. This is so fun to walk out on and see if anyone is catching anything. You will find many beautiful pelicans along the splashing rocks fishing as well :) If you are lucky enough this is a great spot to see a rocket launch happen as well!
Manatee Sanctuary Park:

This park lives up to its name, you may see a manatee! This is because of the warm water this area brings. Even if you don't there is plenty of wildlife and beautiful views around the park. There is a great little place place if you need a break too. A perfect spot for a picnic :)
