HIKING TIPS -for your kids or maybe for you too!

Feel free to take a screen shot of above & keep on your phone!

Below are some tips from myself and some of YOU! I want my kids to love hiking not just do it. Here are some tips from myself and other mama's with experience hiking with their kids!

*Painting hike: Bring along a canvas and some paints. Tell the kiddos they have to look on their hike for their very favorite view. Once they find it take sometime to get the paints out and they paint what they see! pro tip: encourage kids to paint something towards the end of your hike. This will help with keeping them engaged & help with carrying their painting after they are done:) - @thirdcoasttribe

*Ice cream or treats: one of my girls favorite hikes is one with a ice cream store at the end. We pass it starting the trail and remind them of the goal. This helps keep their spirits high the entire hike!- @thirdcoasttribe

*Bingo: make a bingo game to find certain set of things on the trail and mark them off! - @rewild_mama

*Always friends or cousins (especially as they get older) and Oreos at the half-way point! - @wanderingfamilies
