Outside the Tent - Cooking, fires & more

Camping is just a wonderful way to get outdoors, be with your family and make new experiences! Here is some help outside of the tent to get you rolling.

A tip to actually enjoying camping is having things ready to go at home. What I mean is if you have things in a crate specifically for camping, you can pick up and go so much faster then packing house hold items every time. We have a place in our basement all things camping! So when it's time we load up the truck and don't think twice because we know everything we need is in there!

Cooking set up: We use a propane stove top for some of our cooking. We have a table cloth, S&P, oil, pans, spatula and extra propane minis all packed together for this. While we love to use the fires for whatever we can - it's so nice to have this stove top going at the same time! See weekend camping menu here! Venture Cooler: Our hands down favorite is from Otterbox. This is the most amazing invention! You have everything you need and then some - a chair/table/cooler/cuttingboard all in one! Coleman Vintage Cooler: If you can't swing the above this is an awesome cooler. Keeping things cool look wise and grocery wise :)

Breeo Fire Pit: If you are camping close to home and have the room this is our favorite way to campfire and still cook! These fire pits are designed specifically for amazing cooking! It's portable so you can have it on your pack patio or take it with you camping!

Chairs: We use Wenzels chairs here and like them a lot! I'd say if you are limited on space though to look into some cheap ones from walmart like this. They still do the trick but aren't quite as bulky. The girls chairs are both from walmart and oh so cute!

Campfire Fun: *Coffee/Wine/drinks glasses are great to have covered for a few reason, but mostly so the kids run up for some snuggles and get it all over ya! Here are my favorites from Otterbox . *Campfire Games: Would you rather, Water proof playing cards, *Don't just have a s'more- have whatever s'more you want! Here are some rad s'more ideas for your next adventure!
